Anyone seen this before?

Saw it tonight for the first time, very impressed by the sport (if it is one) but would like to think it would be much more exciting to watch live, something doesn't quite transpose too well for the TV screens, although the behind-plane camera is pretty cool.

Went to see it when it was in Cashel, Ireland a couple of years ago.
Unsurprisingly for Ireland, it was crap weather, a little bit of rain but mostly too windy for the planes.
They did get out for one run (maybe two, it was a while ago!) and I gotta say that it was superb
The traffic was terrible getting there, terrible getting away, but it was all defo worth it to see it in the flesh.

Would 100% recommend going if you get the chance

Going to Portugul in about 15 months but it's largely unplanned at the moment - I'll have to try and weave Porto into the festivities in that case...

If you liked the video's and what you see on TV, you'll love it.
Not sure what sort of layout they have in Porto, but in Cashel it was pretty spectacular. The planes are pretty close and when they're finished with their run do do a couple of tricks
I know I have a video somewhere (crappy quality). If I can dig it out I will.

Was watching a bit of this the other night, a massive bird got hit by one of the planes, tearing a large hole in the fuselage and splattering blood everywhere. Amazing that the pilot didnt crash.
