To be honest no one else in the women's game is in the same class really. As far as I can tell if they were motivated to slog through the whole year the Williams sisters would embarrass the rest of them who all look a bit ****."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

It was the best final they've had together but then that's not saying a great deal.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostLast year's final was a great game - I recall McEnroe labelling it a classic.
There have been dull games but nevertheless I always find the rivalry fascinating.
Personally I find it hard to see any of their matches as classics in the true sense of the word as their styles are too similar. Imo all the greatest games in tennis history have been between participants with differing styles, at Wimbledon post Borg/McEnroe etc think Becker - Edberg, Graf - Navratilova, Agassi - Sampras and most obviously last years unbelievable Federer - Nadal game. For me the Williams sisters will never be able to reach these heights together, nor can they really with anyone else given the lack of a consistently genuine challenger to them on grass.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

that was a class match. delighted for roddick. has it all in his game really. felt sorry for murray even though he played well but with 75% of 1st serves in at that speed who wouldn't struggle against roddick?
half of me hates murray for being such an obviously miserable ******* but half of me likes him for not being some media friendly gimp willing to grin at the camera for endless idiotic questions.
hope roddick wins.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

I love seeing the sisters slug it out against one another.
