How good do you think the Lions would be if they played together up to and beyond the next World Cup? Do you think they'd win it?

Difficult to say - a number of the players are getting on a lot but given the talent pools available I think they would be amongst the favourites. Difficult to say as a lot of the camaraderie of the Lions comes about from the nature of the beast being a touring team and that might change if they were together long term.

For example in recent years the England team has often looked to have more talent than it shows but somehow as a group they don't quite gel correctly.

It could be argued that the need for top class leaders (in the mould of Johnson and Dallaglio) in all of the 6 nations is what prevents any of them stepping up a level to where southern hemisphere sides are. For all their qualities the Lions still lost the test series.
