Our middle order is a disgrace. Flintoff isn't an all-rounder and hasn't been for some time. He's a frontline bowler who occasionally can bat a bit.

Bopara thinks he's ****ing Sachin. Flash ****er.

Prior got a great ball and in KP's defence he got a good 'un too. Colly's was a loose one but he can be forgiven after his effort last time.

We need to get up near 500.

Not a bad day overall. Extremely frustrating that our middle order collapsed again but if we can get up to 450/500 we should have a chance. There's rain due tomorrow so if we can quickly add another 100 runs in the morning session the aussies will be on and off the field a lot when batting which will be good for us. With it being more overcast the ball may swing a bit more too.

I agree that Flintoff isnt a batting allrounder but that's why he's been moved down to 7. Luckily we've got Broad and Swann who can bat a bit so if Freddie fails it's not an absolute disaster as it would have been in the past.

If Bopara doesnt score in the second innings i'd be tempted to look at someone else for 3 but it's not a position you want to be gambling with mid series. The obvious replacement would be Bell but im not sure he's up to it either.

I think this match will be drawn.
