I don't get why the US isn't discussed in the same terms Russia is. Each case is reported as if it's a one off.

Sha'Carri Richardson, the "new Bolt" is using the same coach that Tyson Gay had when he got busted. How is the coach still allowed to operate?

A lot of celebs weighing in on whether Marijuana should be banned, as it’s not a performance enhancer. What they’re ignoring is that it currently IS on the banned list, so she knew she shouldn’t be doing it. It’s not hard, even though she is grieving the loss of her mother.

It’s still a shame. All the hype around Richardson had me really keen to watch her lose to Dina :-)

I didn't even know the championships were on til I heard something about it on the radio. Completely missed the men's 100m final - never heard of any of them either.

Why is it going so under the radar? It used to be a massive deal. Carl Lewis et al. The time-zone definitely doesn't help but there's a few other reasons I think. ITV used to show all the big Diamond League meetings every Friday night and some midweeks too, so they were front and centre. Now we haven't got a clue who any of them are. Also the doping scandals have damaged it.

Listening to him today, He was a medal hope last year in the Olympics and finished 10th.

Think you are right, Hardly any, if any mainstream coverage nowadays I was never big in to Athletics but would always watch those Diamond league events, And always remember watching events at Gateshead for some reason
