Very, very dangerous. Disgusting behaviour from Henderson, but then it goes on all the time. In his interview straight after the fight he said he knew he was out cold too before he hammered another one down. Completely premeditated.

Changed his story in the post match interview though, claimed he didn't know if Bisping was going to get back up and recover, and waited for the ref to stop instead....

Bisping was very lucky not to have serious damage from that.

White is going to have to get Fedor over to the UFC and pray he knocks him out as Lesnar could destroy the heavyweight scene. He doesn't throw a knockout punch, he doesn't seem to attempt any jujitsu when on the ground, he uses his weight well and then just pounds. All very boring.

Fedor will have to do the rounds first though to justify the championship fight.

Fedor has dominated the MMA heavyweight scene for the better part of this decade. He doesn't need to pay his dues. If he goes to the UFC then it'll be to fight for the title.

He'll get a tune up fight against someone to get used to fighting in the cage as its hugely different to the traditional ring.

My money would be on him fighting Couture before Lesner (presuming that Lesner gets through the winner of Carwin and Velasquez) that would be a huge money maker in its own right - and let's be honest, that's all that matters to the UFC.

Fedor also has to get through Barnett at the next Affliction - that should be a good fight for him but he should win as long as he trains properly. After that his Affliction contract is up and he is a free agent again, so if it is going to happen that will be Dana White's window of opportunity.

He had what 3 fights before he got the title shot and he had lost one of those to Mir.

Henderson came over from Pride right into a title shot against Silva.

As you say though, Lesnar had to fight a few times first, structured as it seemed, he still had to do it.

I'm not sure but wasn't the Henderson fight due to the UFC's takeover of Pride?

Point about Lesner being that he'd paid no dues in MMA. How many other fighters have gotten a title fight on their fourth MMA fight?

As for Henderson yes he was the PRIDE middle weight king. Much like Fedor is the whatever it is heavyweight king.

Yes, but Affliction is a completely seperate entity, Pride was bought out by UFC.

Regardless, Fedor is the man to take Lesnar out, the sooner the better.
