Cain Velasquez is a very good fighter and could give Lesnar a run for his money, he's got very good take downs and his ground and pound is pretty good too, in his last fight he absolutely annihilated Cheick Kongo and he's a big guy. They're both very raw fighters which could make for an interesting fight though.Originally posted by chadrtc View PostHe'll get a tune up fight against someone to get used to fighting in the cage as its hugely different to the traditional ring.
My money would be on him fighting Couture before Lesner (presuming that Lesner gets through the winner of Carwin and Velasquez) that would be a huge money maker in its own right - and let's be honest, that's all that matters to the UFC.
Fedor also has to get through Barnett at the next Affliction - that should be a good fight for him but he should win as long as he trains properly. After that his Affliction contract is up and he is a free agent again, so if it is going to happen that will be Dana White's window of opportunity. We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

it's easy to think that initially, but once you start getting into it there really are a lot of styles and tactics. Some fights, like the Lesnar fights, do end up in ground and pound (although a lot more to it than a simple school fight), but these are few and far between. I suggest you watch an archive of fights from Anderson Silva, Frank Mir, GSP, Jackson, Liddell and Fedor.

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Your probably right about it, just seems to end up in dick-punching the few times I have seen it - but there is hopefully more to it.Originally posted by FatTony View Postit's easy to think that initially, but once you start getting into it there really are a lot of styles and tactics. But don't really have any channels showing it, so I'll stick to that version for now - also a lot funnier

Josh Barnett has failed another drug test, meaning he has been denied a license for the Fedor fight at the weekend. Rumours suggest Vitor Belfort will be stepping in to receive the beating from Fedor instead.
Barnett is a juicer - once is forgiveable but failing twice for anabolic steroids is lame. Exactly the same as when he was stripped of the UFC heavyweight belt a few years back.Cult Member. Nazi puncher.
