Superleague Formula Liverpool - Free tickets

The offal are giving away free tickets to watch the Superleague Formula at Donnington Park on 2nd August.

I went last year with my kids and it was really good. In addition to the racing, there was loads of free stuff, including Go Karting for adults, penalty taking (measures speed of your kick), remote control car racing for kids etc. You can pay a little extra and get access to the back of the pits (where the dollybirds are!)

We got seats in the main grandstand to watch the start and then off to sit on the grass to watch the rest of the race.

They also had motorcycle stunts along the grid between races.

I'm not a particular motor racing fan, but it was a great day out.

Spanish driver Adrian Valles will continue to represent Liverpool against drivers from AC Milan, Lyon, Tottenham, PSV Eindhoven, FC Porto, Galatasaray, Atletico Madrid and more.

Apologies to anyone that did go yesterday. Although the racing was good fun, they had none of the extra stuff. I don't think they have a budget for any marketing promotional stuff anymore. On the plus side, there was free access to the back of the pits - to see the cars being worked on etc.

Liverpool get paid to lend their brand to Superleague formula. It doesn't cost the club a penny. However, I can't see it continuing another year, as there is little interest.

Even though, I'm not a particular motor racing fan, there were 11 races throughout the day, including Alfa Romeo and Mazda, Super Go Karts and Historic F1 cars.

    Quite good for free entry.
