    The Open : Fowler at the Fifth

    Seems like God`s had a good spec at the 5th tee all day
    One of his fingers bandaged, must have hurt it yesterday

    Seems bizarre to see Tiger Woods with Hilbre Island in the background
    Got to admire the fella
    but i wish it had been more of a contest
    ' He has football in his blood ' said a scout who was trying sell a player to Liverpool. ' You may be right ' Shanks said, ' but it hasn't reached his legs yet '

      Was there on the Friday, stayed around the 11th for most of the day.

          One of the commentators over here said something far worse.

          "Robbie Fowler there...decent vantage point. Recently returned to Liverpool. He was a great finisher in his day."

              Strange bump but may as well use this thread.

              Anyone watching it?

              Bryson hacking it around already. He has no back up plan and if you hit the rough here you're going to drop a lot of shots.

                Yeah, got it on at the moment. Bryson just bombs everything, the rough at RSG is ****ing brutal to say the least ! Got to keep it on the short stuff.

                Casey is playing really well so far, a good EW bet

                        Man this rough is brutal in some spots Should see lots of yanks completely **** the bed having to play a real course.

                          less spectators on the course not trampling down the rough either, some of the drop zones which are usually flattened look brutal
