Thanjk you.

Stayed up for the fight last night and I wished I hadn't bothered. That was an exhibition of boxing I'm sure the purists would have loved, but I found Mayweathers style of boxing to be very boring.
FMJ just sits back and waits for the opponent to commit a mistake, before landing a couple of punches and pulling back again. He is quite obviously a brilliant boxer, but not that impressive and exciting to watch.
I love the idea of pac man squaring up to him, but Mayweather would just sit back once again and pick him off, making it another rather dull fight. I doubt I'll ever see an explosive boxing match involving Floyd.
What a shocker ... Boxing Match one sided and does not live up to hype

Think of it more like this:
Watching Italian sides used to be so dull because even when their teams were the best around they used to prefer to win 1-0 than risk losing a match and going for extra goals.
They preferred the tactical art of mastery defence than going a bit gung ho and tearing to pieces a much inferior opponent.
The fact Mayweather outclassed Marquez was not a suprise. But the fact he never opened up and went for the knockout did take me by suprise. The commentator kept saying he could win it when he wanted too with a knockout, but in reality I don't think he could as his mindset would not allow him too. It seems he just aims to ware them down and then finish of an opponent who can't fight back.
If you want to see two lumps of men punching each others lights out then obviously it was a let down. However, if you wanted to see one of the true legends of a sport give what can only be described as a masterclass, completely nullifying a very dangerous oponent with unbelievable speed, spacial awareness, reactions and grace then it was a good spectacle. His accuracy and hand speed are truly amazing also.
If you couldn't appreciate what Mayweather did the other night then you don't really like boxing, just fighting.

Juicing the fans dry how exactly? He's just fought the 2nd best fighter in the world (some say the best) after 2 years out. There was not one call anywhere for him to fight Pac before he retired, now he's suddenly "got" to fight him ASAP? Lets see how Pac gets on against Cotto first, a proper fighter who isnt completely shot like Hatton or Oscar. If he wins it'll happen summer next year or late next year. If he cant beat Cotto then theres not really much point getting in with Floyd.
Once Mayweather beats him comfortably you'll no doubt be on here telling us "boxing is ****e" "why is Floyd fighting small guys" etc etc. He cant win.
Its not Mayweather its the entire sport .. its rotten to the core
Who is the Heavyweight Champion of the world ... ???
Nobody knows ... 25 years ago 8 people on the street not fans would know
How does a lack of talent in the heavyweight division make the sport rotten to the core? You seem to be going off on completely different points here. There are a lot of parts that are rotten, the heavyweight division is just crap, theres not a lot you can do unless people start coming through.
Its crap because even the fighers gave up on the sport a long time ago ... I remember a while back you had guys going on a reality show who was ranked number 2 in the world just so they could get a shot or a decent fight .. dont get me wrong I love the sport or I used too ... But its washed up and on its knees

Id actually like to see him fight Mosely, Mosely is more Mayweathers size than Marquez or Pacquiao, and Mosey has very fast hands, something you need to beat Mayweather. I think Mosley may have a shot now after calling Mayweather out. Iv been wanting to see Cotto fight Mayweather for years, he would be alot stronger, yet i do think his style may be to slow though to beat Floyd?
Cotto is my favourite fighter but he's slower and gets hit to much which is a disastrous combination against someone like Mayweather.
I think he'd just nulify everything Mosley does in a more comfortable fashion than Cotto did to Mosley. Mosley just brawls if things dont go his way and that wont get him anywhere, he'll get tagged all night.
I'd like to see both but I dont expect him to have any bother in either. I think the only man with a chance is Paul Williams due to his huge work rate and the fact he's a freak physically. That one will never ever happen though.
I agree that Williams vs Mayweather will never happen, for 2 reasons, A) Hes a hugely dangerous opponent on his day & B) Commercially despite being excellent he (Williams that is) just doesnt seem to have the fanbase.
Does anyone know why the interviewer was being such a prick post fight? He hardly let PBF get a word in. Also mentioned something about the weights they were at - what was that about?
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

I didn't see the post fight stuff but the catch weight was set at 144 pounds and Mayweather weighed in at 146 so he got fined as per the contract agreement but the fight still went ahead.
