Ross Brawn: "It's still got to sink in. It will take a while... [breaks down] It's just special. Very special. The work the team did over the winter... All the people who couldn't be with us, because we had to re-size the team after the winter, my thanks go to them. I hope they've enjoyed it because they've been part of what we've done."

World champion Jenson Button: "It's really amazing... my voice has gone! After the last few races, this one makes up for it. It was awesome. I'm world champion, baby. That race deserves it. Twenty-one years ago, I jumped into a kart and I loved winning - but I never expected to be world champion."

Button has always struck me as a bit of a knob, but fair play to him (for having the best car this year).

I find it an utterly boring sport though.

it's ****e - it has two good things - the start and the first four laps, and then the last two laps - the 60 od inbetween are dire

I always watch the start of the grand prix though - the build up, the cars revving, the lights flash and then go go go go!!

I don't mind watching a full TdF stage or a whole marathon, but F1 no thanks.

Have to say for the first time ever I actually enjoyed watching a race. There was some brilliant aggressive overtaking on show and the early drama also made in interesting

I read something about him going mental at the press conference because there wasn't enough journalists there to laud praise on him!

The quote in The Times was something like "Where's all the press? Im a ****ing world champion!"

Yep Button strikes me as a total prick, in one of the most pointless and boring 'sports' in the world. ****e.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Bull**** - no one could sit through a whole marathon on tv!

I don't watch much Formula 1 but I caught the highlights last night.

Button was interviewed afterwards and said that his drive was 'a champion's drive.' Came across as a bit of a cock as it's not really the sort of thing you should be saying yourself. Still, well done to the guy, winning six of the first seven races was a very impressive achievement.
A humble guy with healthy desire.

                              Well done to him.

Would have been more impressive if he could actually win when there are other competitive cars though instead of just at the start when Brawn where miles ahead of everyone.
