Sugar Ray Leonard' knockout of Dave Boy Green has always stuck in my mind; brutal finish.

Can't look for a youtube now, but I remember Kirkland Lang pummelling some stumpy little mexican looking guy (This was probably about 1985-90) in the corner and waiting for the ref to leap in, when the coiled and crouched mexican unleashed (and im not exagerating) a dragon punch!

Lang was out on his feet and fell like a proverbial tree trunk.

Gatti could have a thread of his own for savage knockouts. Ruelas and Rodriguez were great, but Joey Gamache was ****ing gruesome. Gatti was 20lbs heavier than Gamache in the ring and sent him out on his back. Gamache never fought again.

Isn't Gamache brain damaged as a result?

Having heard him speak beforehand I imagine it's not easy to tell.

But he never fought again as a result of said gunderthumping.
