for the people wondering what we're on about - there's a handball european championship taking place in austria at the moment, today are the final games of the group stage, where the top two teams from each group advance to the semis(you get 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a loss)

Will be a tough game for you, this has been a very strong tournament IMO, lots of excellent teams. I think we have chance if we meet France but I think Polland will win the tournament, they have a strong team.

Will be interesting to see if Croatia will be affected by the news of their coach stepping down after this tournament - he just announced after their last game I think. They are incredibly solid and Balic is just phenomenal.

Defo a big day today, and will be very exciting to see how it turns out. I think Iceland stand with a great chance of advancing to the semis, and it will be a close call between Croatia and Denmark. I however am somewhat comfortable that we can beat croatia today after the Norway game where the fighting spirit came back to the team. Denmark always plays best when they are up against the wall, so I think we will make it.

It's also a thriller who goes through from the other group, but I think it will be france and spain, unless slovenia can come up with something special.

It's very close, any of Croatia, Iceland, Norway and Denmark (spot the odd one out ) on on hand and then France, Spain and Polland. France have all the experience needed to get one over Polland so it's not out of the question that Spain could advance on Polland's expense but I have sneaky feeling Polland will be the team in the final - although I wouldn't put money on any of these games.

If he can do half as much with them as he's done with Kiel it will be fantastic

croatia have such a good team it foolish to write them off, and i think news of červar stepping down, might motivate the players to give him one more trophy, as he's done a hell of a lot for them over the years and is a legendary coach already.

and if i'm not mistaken poland are already through to the semis, it's down to france and spain for the other spot.

Did well to beat them despite not playing well, the Icelandic team is capable of winning anyone really on their day, hopefully they can keep this up.

Croatia could go either way, they didn't play well against Iceland as we deserved to beat them IMO, you are probably right about the Poles.

Best of luck to you, looks like you have an excellent coach, will be interesting to watch Slovenia in the future.

It's fun playing and very physical contact wise. I still think football is much more fun playing, and actually a harder game to master because it's played with your feet. Bit easier to start of with handball as it is a more natural instrument to use.

But you have to be fearless when playing handball!
