OK. The official site is still showing they're going to take payment between 10th May and 10th June. The BBC were reporting yesterday afternoon that some people had already been charged for tickets but I suppose maybe now they're claiming last night was the last, er, moment. And thinking about it someone was on the radio this morning who'd first been notified a couple of days ago.

Whatever, the ticket application/allocation process has been a bit of a pig's ear and communication has been abysmal.

Thanks. Somewhere between a quarter and a third seems fairly common.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Looks like we've got tickets to the football semi-final at Old Trafford

I'll be amazed (and quite relieved) if I don't get any tickets. My biggest fear is getting all of them.

i didnt get any but as a group it looks like we thre right amount of tickets for one hockey semi final and have tickets for the other semi final and the 3/4 play off. We are considering using second chance to get tickets for the final. 4 of us applied and in total we applied for 10 tickets to each game we wanted which was double what we needed so in the end its not a bad result by the look of it

I thought the chances of getting any might be lower than it is.

But then I mainly applied for the velodrome which is apparently twenty times oversubscribed.

At least if you get some tickets in the Velodrome you will be able to see something

A company we work with has been involved in the mechanical and electrical services on the Aquatics centre they have been to the top of the temp seating and said its very difficult to see much.

I've just checked my Visa account for the second time today and it looks I won't be seeing anything as I have a zero balance.

I suppose I'll try the second round.

At least the road cycling doesn't need a ticket.

I've got tickets for the football at Wembley. Either 2 tickets for the final or 4 tickets for 2 earlier round games. Was about £360 worth I applied for and they took £86.
