It's not really that complicated once you understand the mark.

If you complete a pass above a certain distance you get a mark. Which is kind of like a free kick.

But if they want to carry on they can just tap the ball with their foot and that's kind of like a quick free kick.

That's what screwed me when I first started watching, I didn't have a clue what was happening.

It's pretty much end to end constant action, like basketball, but it's not as bad as basketball in that teams can and constantly do get silly leads by playing well, and sometime you'll see a team the equivalent of 5-1 down pull it back in the last quarter if they get a run on.

I'm not a massive fan, but I watch it from time to time and it is a very enjoyable action packed sport.

But what they're paid is peanuts on an international sports level. When playing they either have to invest really well or take a job up when they retire.

It may well be peanuts, but the €300k a year Tadhg Kennelly is supposedly earning from playing is about €300k more than a GAA player.
Granted, he may be one of the top earners, but you can see why a young Irish lad would be tempted to move over.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

The ex-CEO of the Melbourne Storm ( who reportedly masterminded the rorts )has been forced to resign from his new position as CEO of the newly formed Melbourne Rugby franchise and has been given a golden handshake of $275K.
