Dudbridge is back competing in top comps but tends not to go further than the 2nd or 3rd round. I too thought he was destined for big things but I can't see it now.

The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Shepherd got lucky in that he faced opponents woefully out of form, but then you can only beat what's in front of you i guess.
Edit: 92.86 was Part's average, the lowest since the PDC WC began and less than the BDO equivilant that year...Shepherd was averaging 85.10 in the final, and probably not much more than that through the earlier rounds.Comment
