Hmmm, might have to start a betfair account....

And for the record, I agree with the nobhead-camp in this thread - totally up himself and contemptuous of every other player. He is still fat and from Stoke at the end of the day and always will be.

Dudbridge is the man to watch for IMO - lives near me and will be big one day, you wait and see...
You reckon Dudbridge will make it then? Remember him appearing a few years ago, making a name for himself and then fading away...is he back on the comeback trail then?

Dudbridge is back competing in top comps but tends not to go further than the 2nd or 3rd round. I too thought he was destined for big things but I can't see it now.

      Whatever happened to Kirk Shepherd?

He's moved from GMTV to Sky.
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Shepherd was a one tournament wonder, and even then he was **** from what i could see...****, with a bit of effort i could be better than him....never seen a player throw in a more off-balance way than him.

It was a miracle he reached that final, sometimes it was a wonder he hit the board at all

****test final i've seen for a while...wonder what Part's winning average was...can't see it being much above 90.

Shepherd got lucky in that he faced opponents woefully out of form, but then you can only beat what's in front of you i guess.

Edit: 92.86 was Part's average, the lowest since the PDC WC began and less than the BDO equivilant that year...Shepherd was averaging 85.10 in the final, and probably not much more than that through the earlier rounds.

Yeah everyone he faced missed stupid amounts of doubles. He was lucky but fair play, he finished the job off every time until the final.

I cannot stand John Part so I was well behind him too.

but i'm not sure why . . . . . . . . .darth maple just looks miserable as sin so that might be why.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Phil Taylor can probably give him some good advice on how to correct that.
