What makes you think that? The match was over with the US conceding so the cup was won. Unlike in 99 at brookline when Leonard holed on the 17th green before Olazabal had putt?

Yeah it was a terrible chip on the 17th. I think the pressure got to him but he will have more Ryder cups in the future.

Normally i cant stand the US team in the Ryder cup with all their woo USA and after the treatment of Monty at brookline. But this team were spot on in the way they conducted themselves and also had great banter with the European fans and even got in on some of the chants.

Cory Pavin is just a class above. I think the US team will do well to try and convince him to captain the next team.

Yeah this US team have excelled themselves. From the top down - Pavin is a class act. To think I used to really dislike him when he was a prominent player. Cink, Furyk and many more of them are wonderful players and fantastic ambassadors for the sport. Top blokes.

Mahan totally choked - we've all done it. In fact I fluff at least one chip every round. I felt so sorry for him.

Deciding match of the cup, and the fact that e was playing the us open winner, must have been very difficult psychologically. It was a good round all in all though.

I thought Pavin carried himself very well especially over the first couple of days when during 4 Balls and 4 somes he was always there greeting and encouraging not only the USA team but the Europeans as well. Monty ontheotherhand did not. Ok, I know he's there to do a job and the end result and all that but a little bit of common decency ffs. I just think he's an ignorant ****.
