Not a great decision from the Aussies for me. He is a limited player in that he doesn't have great control or consistency over what he's doing but for me Bollinger is just extremely average and they're downgrading. I know he has a good record, but for me it flatters to deceive. They're losing a potentially match winning player. Not that it should be a major factor in the selection process but it also weakens their lower order considerably as Johnson is more than handy with the bat especially with tired bowlers.

Although, atleast we won't have to look at that awful arm tattoo.

**** it back to the important stuff. Come on England we have the momentum going into this and need to cement our position.

Remember Adelaide in 06? Both teams batted for two days in the 1st innings - Colly double ton - before our inexplicable collapse on day 5. Apparently the wicket is even more bat-friendly than usual so this could be really ****ing dull......I might only watch for an hour - I still haven't properly caught up on my sleep since the ****ing 1st Test.

I know that game ended badly but Pietersen in the first innings was something to behold.

There was a spell of bowling from McGrath and virtually every ball that was bowled KP came down the wicket and played him on the walk.

McGrath was so angry with KP taking the piss that he lost his impeccable line and length and got ****ted for a few to the extent that Ponting took him off.

I never saw anyone bat like that in a test match whilst facing McGrath before or after.

Haha god yeah, I'd forgotten about that. That was ****ing awesome. Only time I ever saw McGrath like that.

England unchanged, Aussies make two changes, Harris & Bollinger in for Hilfy and Hapless Mitch.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
