Last week I googled who won the series (it's series 14 which finished in the US in May) but I've forgotten her name.
Following on from Shaggy's correction of my views about Haddin, if they take one more wicket maybe England aren't into the tail but they will at least be well into the hindquarters/rump.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Looking very clear, just a couple of tiny patches. Let's hope it stays that way.
Days forecast:
Forecast for Tuesday
A morning shower, increasing to showers and a thunderstorm during the afternoon
and evening. Warm to hot with moderate northeast to northerly winds and a light
to moderate southwest afternoon sea breeze.
Well it can save them this test but it won't save them in the series.
I have a nasty feeling we're going to continue to be all over them but that batsmen friendly pitches and the weather will keep it 0-0.
Then they'll contrive to beat us in the last game by leaving six inches of grass on the pitch and triumphing in a seamer friendly low scoring game.
Of course hopefully I'll be completely wrong starting tonight. But I just have a nagging doubt in the back of my mind that they can't be as crap as they seem.
Sounds like Katich is out for the Australians as well. Massive loss for both teams. Gutted for Broady, he was bowling well without getting the wickets.
