Wladimir Klitschko V David Haye Fight Set

Vitali Klitschko says he wants to sign a contract with David Haye to fight in spring 2011 within "the next month".
Haye retained his WBA heavyweight title when he demolished Audley Harrison, while Klitschko is the WBC champion.

Klitschko is the older brother of IBF and WBO champion Wladimir and wants to fight Haye first because "Wladimir will kill him".

Vitali Klitschko told the BBC: "Stop talking. I'm ready to sign any time, let's make the fight in springtime."
He continued on BBC Radio 5 live: "No excuses any more, he talks too much, he's a great talker, but the question is, is he a good fighter or not?

"He's world champion by talking. Let's fight. Let's go."
Vitali Klitschko added he would offer Haye a 50-50 deal and is prepared to fight him anywhere in the world.

"Let's discuss where we would fight. Let's fight in the United States. I listened to a great proposal for Madison Square Garden. I'm ready to fight in the US, Germany or Great Britain," Vitali Klitschko added.
"Let's make contract. Straightaway we are ready to sign the contract - I want to fight David Haye."

Hope the fight doesn't go ahead in the UK. Vitali will probably get screwed if it went to a decision, not that I expect anything less then a knock out anyway.

I also reckon Haye will dodge him for a little longer. At least one more pay day first.

It is indeed time for Haye to put up, or shut up.

What's the problem? Just that they didn't write Vitali?

I hope Haye fights Wlad first. Vitali will kill him. He has a chance of beating Wladimir. Look at how Corrie Sanders (admittedly he's a southpaw) blasted him out. He's been knocked down before by other fighters with either quick or heavy hands. Haye's hands are as quick as Sanders but he has better all around boxing ability and isn't a lazy trainer like Sanders with a half a beer gut was like when he got belted by Vitali.

I think that Wlad fight would be too close to call, but Vitali for me has the beating of Haye. Say he only has 2 fights left in him, as Haye says he was going to retire, he might as well have beaten Wlad before getting knocked the **** out by Vitali and retiring rather than the latter happening without the former.

Yes...because Haye is really exciting especially his last fight. Shame on the Klitschkos for boxing intelligently and having an excellent records with high KO percentages. Instead they should be like Hatton and fly in throwing punches everywhere with no tactics or proper game-plan and get themselves knocked out - they'd lose but who cares as long as it isn't boring!

Correct. Boxing is about entertaining people, not boring them. I don't blame them for their boring tactics, but I would rather they entertained.

Spot on Danny Man - playing for money and percentages is killing sport as entertainment. The Klitschkos and the 451 system have a ****ing lot to answer for!

And you tell me a more entertaining sight in boxing than Ricky Hatton being poleaxed by Manny Pacquiao - hilarious!
