I meant Vitalli. My point was that it was a lennox lewis at the end of his career and not in his prime and he still beat him. My biggest prolem with them is they fight bums most of the time.

There's an argument that Lewis was in his prime or very near it when he fought Vitalli. Anyhow that's by the by.

I'll agree that both of the brothers grim have fought nothing but tomato cans. Not entirely their fault. The heavyweight division is moribund.

Lewis was always a fighter who prepared for specific fighters in his training. Vitali was a late replacement for Kirk Johnson, who Lewis obviously thought he was going to truck in three or four rounds. He was overweight and ponderous that night. If he'd prepared specifically for Vitali I think the fight would have been less bother for him.

Not sure about Lewis bring in his prime though. He was 38, hadn't been in the gym much, and hadn't fought for a year since the Tyson bout. And he never fought again.

Incidentally, just to highlight the hilarity of the Klitschkos, they have even made Chisoora sign a guaranteed rematch against Vitali should he cluster**** his way past Wladimir. Who makes people sign guaranteed fight clauses against third party fighters? Chumps.

I'm sure I heard Haye talking about this in one of his interviews. It was one reason that his camp couldn't come to any agreement with the Klitschko camp before he won the title from Valuev.

Jealousy is a horrible thing. I'd say if it was two British brothers dominating the division you wouldn't have a problem. The media wouldn't be try to tell you it was a poor division then either.
