I thought it was better because at no stage after round 2 in the Pacman vs Margarito fight did I see Margarito wining whereas right until the very last punch was thrown in this one Maidana had a chance, a bloody good one. It really is my fight of the year, and thats after sleeping on it and watching it again. RAFA Comment

Yeah but (and I say this without seeing it still) the quality is markedly lower. The Pacman fight saw a genuine all time great against one of the sport's bravest warriors. Difficult to beat. Anyway, gonna watch it very shortly.

I've met Amir Khan and he's a very nice bloke.
Most boxers talk themselves up, boxing is a confidence related sport and characters help sell tickets. The haters are just jealous.
It was an awesome fight, had Khan floored Maidana earlier in that 1st round he may have finished him off early.
That 10th round was gruesome though, he took 20-30 full on shots and maybe another referee would have stopped it, he showed great heart and excellent conditioning. He took bombs from the guy with probably the heaviest punches in the division and didn't go down, certainly answered a few critics.
Was just listening to something Naseem Hamed was saying, these types of fights shorten a boxers career, i hope those shots he took in the later rounds don't catch up with him in later life.
I certainly think that was a fight of the year contender.We come not to play.Comment

No, if you read carefully or spoke to any of these "Khan haters" you would know that most believed he had the skills to win. Khan will not get abuse if as claimed he's taking the winner of Bradley/Alexander. The only way people will give Khan abuse is if he avoids these two (when they want it) and fights someone like Olusegun, Coleman, Daws who can't punch.Amir really shut up all the haters.
