Don't think Murray can beat Federer in a big match situation unless Fed implodes.

He used to interview badly didn't he, came across as monotone and grumpy. Then there was the infamous "Anyone but England" remark during Wimbledon and the World Cup 2006 that infuriated Rowan so.
He's amazingly talented though, the top players when they play each other quite often make me go "whoah!"

That quote was taken way out of context though, it was clearly a bit of banter. I don't see him as miserable, on the contrary I think he seems a good laugh and a nice lad.Originally posted by Daniel Torres View PostHe used to interview badly didn't he, came across as monotone and grumpy. He's lost 3 out of 5 against Ferrer which should make it an interesting match.
Most of his early brushes with the media didn't go well, but he's much more accomplished these days. I'm pretty sure he's not the grumpy arse he sometimes looks like.
If he makes it to the final I reckon he'll win it this time.

Dunno, just a feeling. I remember thinking he'd fold against Roddick @ Wimbledon in 2009 and he did. Hope he doesn't though, I like him.Originally posted by Chris View PostReally? Ferrer is a decent grinder but I cant see him beating Murray, he's only beat him on clay so far where Murray is ****e anyway. He shouldnt need more than 4 sets to do the job here.

Murray's biggest problem, if he gets to the final, will be if he has to face Djokavic. I absolutely expect Novak to beat FedererOriginally posted by Chris View Post

I much prefer watching women's tennis. I notice no one has mentioned it here so far - this thread is an old boys club. You dinosaurs..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I prefer women's tennis as well. I'd love to forehand smash some of the female players. And then spray my deuce all over them.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostI much prefer watching women's tennis. I notice no one has mentioned it here so far - this thread is an old boys club.
