I was a huge Tyson fan and I find it almost laughable that my clown of a friend (an Evertonian, by the way) thinks Lewis even has a case. What do the boxing fans on here reckon? Lewis obviously battered a washed-up (but younger) Tyson, but for me that carries little or no weight. It also may well be a futile, petty and meaningless discussion…but I enjoy the debate regardless.

    What d’you reckon fellas?
Lewis - By a country mile. Tyson was a bully (****in good one!) who couldnt hack it once people realised he couldnt handle it if you actually dared to punch **** out of HIM. Lennox is second only to Ali in my opinion (which granted, isnt worth much!) as he had the lot. skill, intelligence, speed, stamina, power. No contest, as was proved when they finally met and tyson got tore limb from limb. Do not fall for that daft argument that tyson in his prime would have beat him. hahahaha

      Well I think he would.

Lewis thought he was a dancer but he was closer to being a plodder than a dancer IMO. His jab was good but he wouldn't have been able to hit Tyson at his peak (when he was what....21?). Incessant head movement, bobbing and weaving and EXPLODING with haymakers Lewis could only dream of landing. Lewis' suspect jaw wouldn't have stood more than three rounds of pounding and he'd have been outta there. Tyson inside three rounds for me.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Lewis had a glass jaw as proved by Rahman and McCall.

Well one McCall punch nearly knocked his head off.

And Tyson would have broken that glass early, in my opinion. The longer it went on the greater chance Lewis would have had, but I honestly don't believe he'd have survived those fearsome onslaughts from the first bell that Tyson used to rip into.

Totally agree. Compare Rahman and McCall to Tyson

                        Paul - FFS!

He was good, but not that good, surely to ****!

Like others have said, he was vulnerable to a big shot and ultimately that's his big downfall!

Every man in history is vulnerable to a big shot. trust me. I do not see it as his downfall, how he came back from them was what mattered.

I think Ali could have kissed that shot Raahman tagged Lewis with!
