One Armed Scissor on Jools Holland - one of the most "energetic" live performances ever

Wrong thread by any chance? Though one armed scissor loosely ties in with the Murray Barnet.

Did well today - cool as a cucumber. Nadal tomorrow. Should be worth watching.

The big question - can Murray win a set?

It's not like the result is in doubt.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Indeed. Murray can win two sets. Whether he will or not is...er...open. He's beaten Nadal before and will do again. Murray's played well so far in this tourney and Nadal holds no fears for him. They've been practising together pre tourney and allegedly our jock has acquitted himself well.

It's only in slam finals he gets nosebleed giddy.

I don't understand betting and I'm skint or I might be tempted to have what I believe is called 'a punt' on Murray.

Has he ever beaten Nadal on clay though?

IIRC Nadal has won something like 35 of 36 matches in Monte Carlo and he hasn't lost there since 2004.

I don't know. Rafa is the undisputed clayman and (almost) no-one in their right mind would bet against him

However, AM has a game that Rafa finds difficult and if AM is on song he has a chance. A good one.

                  It will be interesting.

                  I hope.

Looks like the large hair-ed one, may be injured and may have to concede to big Rafa Nadal. Kick-off (?) delayed for 15 mins while Andy checks out his arm.

EDIT: He is going to play. 21 mins late.

Just watched that having not seen it before I'd like to see Jools graft his boogie-woogie bollox onto that

First serve not good enough and too many fundamental errors from Murray so far. Lost count of the times he's put the ball into the net.

Can't believe he took a set. He's utter wank on clay, haven't seen the game today, is Nadal completely not caring or maybe injured?

                                His elbow's hurting.
