Isn't that because it was an "unscheduled session" though or something so there were no tickets sold for it other than to those who exchanged the previous day's tickets. Agree its ****ed up for this stage of such a tournament, but the organisers were trying to sort the schedule out after the weather delays iirc.
I think it was due to the fact that the game was changed to a different court to keep the tournament on schedule, and this court became free ahead of schedule.

It must be a massive fillip to Murray to wake to know he will not have to play Federer in the semis. Huge. I have a feeling if he can play as he did in the last couple of sets against Cilic, and for the whole game against Raonic then Murray will win this. In that sort of form he is unplayable. He cannot afford to give Djokovic (assuming they are to meet in the final) the sort of start he gave Cilic.

Apparently this is the first tournament since the French Open in 2004 not to feature Nadal or Federer in the semis

at least you saw him 'turn the corner' last night. He took Cilic apart in the final 2 sets.

I think he's gonna win this tournament - assuming he beats Berdych (dangerous I know), he's 'only' got Djokovic to overcome

The comeback from 5-1 down in the 2nd set, and then in the tie-break at 2-4 on Cilic's serve, was brilliant. Hard to imagine Cilic crumbling as I assume he must've done.

Del Potro has been playing well, wouldn't be shocked to see an upset with him and Djokovic

Of course JDP beat Nole at the Olympics recently, although Djokovic's appetite for that game has to be questioned.

Either of those will be very tough for Muzza. I really like Del Potro, delighted he's managed to climb back up the rankings after his injury. Was down to about 100 at one point.

I think the game was pretty much over after that comeback. I'm sure Cilic has a reputation as a bit of a choker, but that was something else and from then on Murray looked unstoppable

I think he does. Also pretty dependent on his serve and for the most part of the first two sets last night he served like a beast. I remember him beating Murray at the US Open about 2-3 years ago. Murray experienced similar trouble this time but I reckon it's a mark of his improvement that he was able to turn it around.

That's the biggest change in Murray, he doesn't seem to self destruct anymore. He digs deep, works out what's going wrong, adjusts and then plays his way out off it.

One things for sure with Roger out, they will all fancy they can win it. Could do with Del Potro and Nole being an epic 5 setter

I did the same except I was watching on the lappy in bed. Woke up this am and looking for the result was the first thing I did. Nice one!

I hope Lendl tears him a new arsehole for the racquet chucking petulance early on...can you imagine any of the top 3 having a hissy fit just because the court/time/crowd/weather/socks or whatever don't suit them??? It's just not going to happen. So, he wanted a slower court? Suck it up princess - get on with it...

I'm a big Murray fan, but he's still his own worst enemy

                          Del Potro v Djokovic tonight

Ferrer is currently a set up v Tipsarevic - 4-3 on serve to Tips in the 2nd set.

I totally forgot the other half of the draw was still a day behind and had assumed JDP v Djokovic was a semi final. Could be an interesting night

                                this is a great match!

Really like Ferrer, always thought of him being good but maybe not quite got it to win a major - this year though starting to think he could do it.
