The answer is no - it's tomorrow night.

Does that mean the final is on Monday night?

So semis on Saturday and the final on Sunday? That's a bit of a joke isn't it.

          Tough schedule.

Maybe this is why they have put in the 5th set tie break so the matches have a maximum number of games?

I thought the semi was tonight as well.

I seem to remember Murrays first final against Federer involved Murray playing a long 5 setter (walk away from it Neil ) against Nadal late into the night before playing Federer in the final the next day.

Mens tennis is punishing enough without this kind of scheduling, if the second semi final is an epic 5 setter then whoever gets through first has a massive advantage.
            Modifying post.

              Soooo...

It's going to be difficult for Murray - and then Nole in the final. Nice one!

Tomas Berdych leads Andy Murray 4-2

              2005
Davidoff Swiss Indoors, Basel (hard court) 2nd round: Murray won 6-4, 2-6, 6-4
The pair's first encounter came in Switzerland in a best of three sets competition, when Berdych was ranked 52 in the world and Murray 70th. Murray had previously beaten fellow Briton Tim Henman in the first round and capitalised on his break point opportunities to take the first and third sets, although his frustration being unable to take similar chances in the second set left him frustrated, with Murray consequently losing his serve and the set.

              2006
Adelaide (hard court) 2nd round: Berdych won 7-6, 4-6, 6-1
In the warm-up event ahead of the Australian Open, 18-year old Murray played down the result of his second round defeat to Berdych as just "a bad day," citing that his defence and returns were not at their usual best.

              2010
French Open (clay court) 4th round: Berdych won 6-4, 7-5, 6-3
The Czech's trademark power proved too much for Murray on a chilly afternoon at Roland Garros, with Berdych at times proving unplayable hitting around 50 winners. It continued a poor run for Murray at Roland Garros, with Berdych saying in the press conference that after the rain delay and with the bad light his coach had told him Murray "looked like he didn't want to play."

              2011
Masters Series, Paris (carpet court) Quarter-Final: Berdych won 4-6, 7-6, 6-4
Murray came into the clash with a 17-match winning streak, but 2005 champion Berdych came through to win the final two sets and advance to the semi-finals. Berdych was forced to save 7 set points in the first set before Murray finally broke through, which set the tone for a close match as the Czech player took the second set tiebreak 7-5.

              2012
Dubai Tennis Championships (hard court) Quarter-Final: Murray won 6-3, 7-5
Murray won in straight sets, the first time either of the two had done so against each other, to break a three-game losing streak against Berdych at the start of a season that would see him progress to the Wimbledon final. Berdych's power was present as ever but failed to make an impact, although it took Murray six match points to seal the quarter-final victory in Dubai.

              2012
Masters Series, Monte Carlo (hard court) Quarter-Final: Berdych won 6-7, 6-2, 6-3
Berdych progressed to a 2-0 record on clay against Murray despite losing the narrow opening set 6-7. A frustrated Berdych then responded by breaking Murray in the second set to take the match to a final set. The deflation of losing the second set lead to Murray being broken in the third and Berdych progressed to the semi-finals.

Watching Azarenka v Sharapova and it is completely unbearable with the grunting. The grunts are so elongated. Azarenka hasn't even finished her grunt by the time Sharapova hits it back.

I know you hate Talksport, but on a Wednesday night around 11pm they play a game called Porn or Bjorn where they play 5 "grunts" and guest celebrities - often Jo Guest and one other - have to guess whether it is, err, porn or tennis.

Car crash radio at its best. And strangely arousing.

Sounds great, and very easy. No porny people grunt like this.

Btw Murray is at 4pm tomorrow

...is that 'am' perchance for us?

Does that mean an 11pm NY time start? Ludicrous.

Make 'em play the best of 5 at slams - that might cut out some noise.

Ah...apologies, as I have said before, I know nothing, you're absolutely correct 4pm. That's good for me but not so good for Murray.

I'd rather it be night time (our time) so I can watch in peace with laddo in bed. As it is I will inevitably be distracted.

What's worse is that they can definitely avoid doing it. In practice, both of them never grunt. It's cheating.
