I'd say it was on day 2 that India let the initiative slip at 267 for 4 or what ever it was to get bowled out for 280 handed back all the initiative to England.

India are on the ropes at the minute, they need to re-group and come back fighting in the 3rd test, and right now I can't see them doing enough to win a test. As things stand England are dominating in every area. So far really only Cook and Strauss haven't contributed in the series.

I write from a position of neutrality (I'm Scottish, though I guess I follow England).

India haven't shown anything near what they are capable off. Sehwag and Zaheer will make a difference, and India need them to because they are being outplayed just now. I also expect to see Tendulkar make an impact at some stage.

Not sure that playing for a draw always works though. I think the main difference will be in the pitches chosen/prepared; some flat tracks set up for draws probably.
