I think the frustration here is that they have scored so slowly, if I had paid to watch that I would have the hump (Actually I would be very drunk by now )
India haven't scored over 300 in an innings so far this series and are on the plane home mentally, surely a crack into them after tea was the way forward but the run rate, and the fact they want cook to get his 300 has put paid to that (Along with the mental bad light decisions)
Whilst it is perhaps fair comment from Warne England's tactics have proven to work recently. Grinding opponents down has been very effective. In a way their job is to win rather than entertain. Everyone seems determined that they are constantly doing something wrong but their results are proving them right most of the time at the minute.
Just about to say...he's going too far now. Just tweeted again.
Yes it's been a bit dull but that's mainly cos we've battered India into the ground. Yesterday we scored at nearly 5 an over FFS.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
Shame if Cook can't get his triple ton but there isnt room for sentimentality in chasing the top spot. Don't want the weather to turn against the team so think they have to declare for the morning session.
Presumably now there is no point in declaring today due to the light issues. If it is questionable according to the umpires now then new batsmen facing a new ball in the hands of quicker bowlers is bound to make their mind up for them.
