I love Cricket. Not much interest in the county game, but there is enough international not to be bothered. A few of my mates like Cricket, one is South African and the other is Indian. So it makes watching it more fun with them too.
Cricket is more interesting to watch for me. I can sit there and watch a bowler and batter go at it all day.
cricket is also growing in popularity - england have improved, the one day and 20/20 games bring in new types of fans, and its becoming something to do.....groups of lads going the cricket for a piss up etc.
i love it - well like alex, love international cricket - find county cricket boring, but i love watching amatuer cricket too - we have a few decent teams around here, so you can go and watch them, trhow a fiver in the bucket for team funding, sit in the pavilion in the sun and have a few beers.
test cricket has grown on me too - plus cricket commentary on sky is the best sports commentry around on any sport and any channel.
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
Test Match Special is something else. When a test is on thats whats on in the car. I drive roughly 4 hours a day so it passes the time. They talk about everything and nothing. Plus Henry Blofeld and Jonathan Agnew are national institutions. Blofeld is the most English person you are ever going to hear.

He's really changed since appearing in those Bond films. Lost the accent and everything.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
if you dont have one, can i suggest Lancashire, you have the roses match to beat those dirty yorkshire white rose *******s and can blame the rain for not winning the county championship for years.
also from time to time we are good at limited overs cricket.
my dad the lucky ******* - is down at the southampton boat show...his hotel room over looks the rose bowl, and he's just been invited to go the test match any days he wants (corporate seats etc)
