And yep all that stuff is a joke. It's why the Masters is so refreshing, you don't get any of that ****. Some of the shouts start just before impact and it's only a matter of time before it puts someone off a big shot and they totally **** it up cos of some bonehead in the crowd.

it's like a competition to see who get in the loudest shriek at the earliest opportunity - as u say, milliseconds before impact.

ridiculous really ****ing annoying - no problem with a load of shots after he's actually hit it but some cunts, just scream "yeah yo de man" at impact, then the odd times it's a **** drive, they must just look like cunts - what u shouting you the man for dickhead, he's pulled it into the bunker, at least look at the flight of ball for a split second first before screaming **** things.

I don't want golf to be like a library - it should have atmosphere, but it needs some sort of class or standard to it and not just mindless pricks that seemlingy go there and shout the same thing at the top of their voice to every golfer on every shot, regardless of where it's going

It sounded like it was right on his down-swing so I rewound it several times and it was difficult to say. I think in all honesty it was about bang on or just before impact rather than actually during the down-swing. Difficult to tell though.
