You're right, he does make it extremely difficult as you'd have to play a perfect game. Nadal's main strength as I said is with his mental toughness. He likes a scrap and no one fancies one with him. Allied to his fantastic stamina, it makes for a virtually unbeatable package.

Arn - I agree with you. This is unusual.

The first set was impressive. He really had rafa worried (I know these things). Murray then made 2 sterling feck-ups, cue collapse of fragile party. Murray imploded. Again. An horrendous let-down.

He really needs a good mindwash. I expect a powerful one off dose of recreational drugs would be out of the question - but he needs something.

Del Potro have the game and mentality to beat him. He hit the ball so hard and flat that even Nadal get big big problems.

I don't have anything against Nadal, excellent player and all that but he should never been allowed to continue the match against Del Potro. He cheated his way through him big time.

A very very weak umpire saved him that time.
