Just discovered Victoria Pendleton and Chris Hoy live quite near me ...ish.....and that they cycled regularly at the Velodrome in town. Won't see Pendleton again. Annoyed with myself for not being interested until now.

all the extra interest is great but without the coaches and equipment its a waste of time, if 200 kids turn up to ride 20 bikes next week with 1 coach whats the point

I knew about the velodrome and that it hosted big cycling events - didn't really know it was the centre of British cycling. I literally had no interest in it whatsoever. I'm a fan now for sure.
