Team GB have lost Chris Froome. Other riders have broken away and have a 1 minute lead.

Well, the ones that just broke away have been 'hiding' at the back all that time, so they are fresher. Whereas team GB have had to chase for a long time to try and claw back a lead. And it's important for them that they keep a steady pace to fend off attacks which is very hard to do.

That's all the beauty of cycling.
