Just been looking through the saling standings. 3 or 4 real good medal chances and another 2 where we are just outside the medal spots. Couple of events yet to start.

Womens Hockey play Belgium tonight and if they win they will only need to draw with China to get a semi final.

Murray got a shot at Bronze at the very least.

Those medals they are sticking the faces on in the BBC studio could get very crowded.

Ian Thorpe was on saying that the very fact that he was dominant in so many disciplines was what was amazing.

He said being Olympic champ at free style and butterfly etc. was equivalent to being olympic champ at discus and javelin.

I'm paraphrasing but you get the gist.
