this suggestion has legs

what if they could all walk as far as they wanted, and maybe throwing in the odd twitch to see if someone will bottle it first and then break into a run. this could carry on until 20-30 yards from the line, then they all stand, scanning the other competitors, giving them evils, seeing who will bottle it first.

now that would be great viewing. it could be called the Intimidation 400

A nightmare event to run. Often my splits in the 800m were quicker than my PB in the 400m. Weird as ****.
