Belarusian fella robbed and the commentators were saying that some rumours were knocking about that deals had been made for the AZE to win some medals

That may be, but as a 'paying' customer of the BBC, regardless of nationality, embarrassing bits of coverage IMO will be called out, same as with Sky every week.

Besides, RTE are so far up their arse on national coverage this Olympics, they're making BBC look like amateurs, who at least have something to cheer about.

Technically, the coverage by BBC has been excellent, the personnel, less so.

You sound a little tiny bit up your own arse yourself.

            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

No more than most people on here telling various managers they haven't a clue how to do their job.

better start would help, but apparently also it needs to be 25-30 degs to break records - way below that at 10pm in London tonight.

Bolt seems to be a really grounded bloke and a great and slightly different role model for Jamaican males hopefully.

Dutch judo bronze medallist Edith Bosch claimed on Twitter that she had "beaten" the person who had thrown the bottle.

She said: "A drunken spectator threw a bottle onto the track! I HAVE BEATEN HIM .... unbelievable."

So did she beat him? Figure of speech? Surreal fantasy?

So what are the GB medal hopes today?

I know Beth Tweddle is one in the gymnastics, as I've seen exclusive behind the scenes footage of her in training.

Can anything top the last two nights?

Bolt was superb last night and my opinion of Blake has changed somewhat after reading he'd been banned for doping in 2009 - even if it was a fairly minor charge.
