Fitting that Shelly-Ann-Fraser-Pryce and Usain Bolt won back to back olympic golds with today being Jamaica's 50 years of independence.

I didn't think Bolt was right either, didn't think he'd win the final, but after watching the semis I changed my mind.

What a heroic, epic performance. He is phenomenal.

It was amazing how he just smashed his way through the pack following a pretty poor start. All the anticipation for <10s of time! One of the events you really do have to tune into!

I know Beth Tweddle is one in the gymnastics, as I've seen exclusive behind the scenes footage of her in training.

Have you seen her new team mate in action?

            We come not to play.

When you look at that again for the first time in ages, it really, really, really looks bad.

That reminds me, why didn't Portugal select Ronaldo, Pepe or Nani for the synchronised diving?
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Believe it or not that's in September. She should be commended for going out there like that. Nothing was made of it, which is how it should be.

Do you realise its an advert for Mini. BMW being sponsors of the Olympics asked for it to be that. Its a bit much if you ask me.

Just doubled checked. National Alopecia Day is indeed in September. It was International Alopecia day.

To be honest I didn't even realise it was Alopecia. Just thought it was comfort factor for wearing a helmet - just thought it a bit odd she didn't lop it all off
