The South Africans are very strong and have some really good quickies coming along. My concern with them is they haven't got a really good spin option at the moment.

Crickets gone to the dogs because of t20. Generally every 3-4 years we goto Australia play 3 tests and 5ODI's pre Christmas, then they go to South Africa and there is a mirror of the series in Feb/March. because of IPL, Champions League and all these other competitions that no one really gives a toss about, the best cricket is badly marginalised. The product is below par in comparison to a decade ago, but the ICC isn't doing a good job at marketing the product that they have in an effective manner. SA and Australia should be playing more tests, the people want to see it.

Same goes for SA - Eng. usually a 4 test series, suddenly reduced. Taking the piss. 10 are you sure? i thought it was 3 T20 and 5 ODIs, no? Regardless more than one twenty20 is more than I can handle. I've given up on all limited overs cricket these days as a result, I used to like to take in the occasional ODI, but the coloured clothes now have tainted connotations.

Best 2 test teams in the world should not be playing 3 tests.

The people that sell cricket will have everyone belive that T20 is the future. But its ****. It takes everything out of the game thats great about it. Its a battle of wits, not who can hit the hardest.
