I just saw the press conference and if anything it makes me more angry. Arum taking every opportunity to defend the judges, shielding Pacquiao from questions. Roach and Pac looking guilty and deflated, Marquez calling for justice etc. I'm so frustrated, Marquez is a saint, I don't know how he can continue to be good natured considering that call.

This fight ruins Manny's legacy for sure. It also highlights how easily Mayweather would take him out. No way he's the best P4P in the world. I hate to say it but I guess the ones that said it earlier were right; Cotto was at the time damaged goods due to his Margarito bout, De la Hoya was past it, Mosley was past it, Margarito's style was made to order was dead at the weight and was effected by out the ring issues and Clottey was a punching bag. I'm not taking anything away because those were great performances but I'm positive based on that bout that a prime De La Hoya or Mosley would beat him, as will Mayweather if it ever comes to fruition.

I know it's not Manny's fault personally, but it makes me feel negativity towards him.

I think Mayweather would take him out in twelve rounds, possibly a KO in the 6th or 7th

The decision from last nights fight was a disgrace.
The times they are a changin'.

I dont think it ruins anything, it's just one fight and JMM is brilliant. And I dont agree on the second bit either, he's always struggled with Marquez, this tells us nothing new. Marquez and Mayweather might be similar in they are both sensational counter punchers but they go about it in vastly different ways.

I think Pac is going to end up massively underrated after this fight in much the way he's been overrated after beating a load of come forward fighters who are past their best.

Mayweather should be favoured because he's a better fighter not because of last night in my opinion.

It's a disgrace mate. I am still fuming. This is what I put in spoiler tags earlier........ I don't think I'm exaggerating by saying this pathetic result is on a similar level to Lewis v Holyfield controversy a few years ago. You see this is why fans still continue to walk away from the sport. They know the sport is corrupt to the core and every now and again moments like this happens. Every fan in the world want to see Mayweather v Manny, there is so much money this fight could potentially generates it's mind boggling. However, we've got a man here who's trained so hard to make sure he didn't get robbed again yet the same thing happens just to keep the Mayweather - Manny fight alive. I would even go as far as saying that this was a more convincing win for Marquez then the previous two. How one judge scored it 116-112 in favour of Pacquiao is an absolute disgrace. If anyone had any doubt, listen to what his own trainer Roach said - "we need a knockout." Even his pal Amir Khan had Marquez ahead and was ready to avenge his defeat. Manny looked defeated (shaking his head) at the end of round 12 and even when it was announced that he won, he looked suprised. Marquez neutralised Manny, dictated the pace and made Manny look frustated and void of ideas in the ring but it still weren't enough for the judges.

In hindsight we should have known all along that there is noway the fight was gonna be given to Marques if it went to points. Lets just hope the Mayweather v Manny fight actually happens if this is the reason for robbing Marquez of a well deserved victory.

I do think Marquez has Manny's number though. He is a complete nightmare for him. The saying that "styles makes fight" is complete true. If anyone needed convincing that it does then I suggest they replay all 3 fights between the two fighters. It's not just the the fact that Marquez a good counter puncher, he counterpunches with combinations and is willing to throw punches when his opponent does. His style is just all wrong for Manny and I suspect if they have a fourth fight, it will follw a similar pattern.

dear oh dear finally managed to watch this.

How on earth was that given to Pacquiao, out boxed and out thought for almost the entire fight, think it just backs up the thinking it's fixed to make sure as much money is made as possible and thats by keeping Manny on his undefeated streak to try and make the match with PBFM.

Mayweather for me is the better boxer anyway and after that I'd be shocked if the result was anything but a Mayweather win. Should be a Marquez vs Mayweather fight

So Paq came down a weight for this fight, a weight he's not fought at for a while, maybe it's time to stop doing this sort of thing and stick to what's natural to him.

The fight was for one of the alphabet Welterweight titles however as a lot of recent Pacman fights it was at a catchweight of 144lbs.

If anything JMM was the one who was boxing out of his comfort zone. In his previous welterweight fight against PBF he looked terrible.

As for Pacmans natural weight? We're talking about a guy who's boxed from 107 right up to 154 during his career.

Agreeing with Chris here. Hysterical overreaction by Zapater to say that Pacman's legacy has been ruined by Saturday evenings fight.

JMM is to Pacman what Norton was to Ali and Barkley was to Tommy Hearns.

I don't think anyone would say that Ali or Hearns legaceys were ruined as a result of those fights.
