Media whore looking for attention again

One of the most vile people I have ever has the misfortune to cross paths with , is bleating again in the press about having taking cocaine again.

I am loathe to call the guy an ex -fighter or a former boxer, because he sure as hell was neither in my eyes, so he can be a guy who was in the ring calling himself a boxer.

Frank Bruno must be either trying to repush sales of his book or maybe raise his profile for the Xmas pantos, but he has given a number of interviews to the press to announce that he was taking cocaine again, despite having been giving the holier than thou stuff over the last two years saying that he had not gone near it.

A nastier, more self serving man I have never met.

"Know what I mean 'Arry?" Give me a ****ing break, you fake.

    Rant over.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

He must be taking some good stuff, the man has totally lost what mind he had.
He's a raving lunatic, he should be sectioned under the mental health act because he is clearly a danger to himself.

The fecker did get himself diagnosed as a fruitcake, then pronounced himself A-Ok. Still at least he cannot blame boxing for any braindamage because the guy was embarrassingly matched against tomato cans his whole career, the few times he came up against a decent fighter he lost.

He does sound 'punch drunk' however.

A lot of how he speaks and used to speak is/was put on. That "uh uh uh" laugh and the happy front was all put on.

Indeed certainly a media whore. He reminds me of the boxing equivalent of Eddie the Eagle or someone off X-factor. Famous for being 'not very good' but always on the telly and some strange charisma.
The fact that he was heavyweight champion of the world is an embarrasment to boxing.

When did you meet him? I met the guy a few years ago, before his much-publicised 'troubles', and he seemed sound enough to me

Met him quite a few times and was a sparring partner too.

Bruno was the most one dimensional successful boxers i have ever seen he willingly took part in one of the most concocted media circus acts i can remember, the real frank bruno the boxer was the one in the ring with tim Witherspoon a total shambles, against a good underrated fighter who refused to play the circus game.well thats what i think anyway.

Not really, suffice to say I don't like two faced people in any walk of life, nor do I suffer bullies and low morality easily in the real world.

Frank Bruno lives in my neck of the woods and suffice it to say that if the "gossip" about him that flies about is true, then he's not a very nice piece of work.
Such an ugly face, such an ugly mouth.

Wasnt as bad a boxer as some may think,
Think he lacked real stamina and ruthlessness though. In one of his fights he did push and hurt Tyson for a while. Just he didnt seem able to keep up his work rate and determination.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                            * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
