I dont think he's ever been the big problem in this though anyway, its Bob Arum, he's content with his cash cow plodding along in in-house fights. And he absolutely detests Floyd Mayweather, I cant see him being willing to risk it all yet, maybe in 18 months or 2 years when no one will really care but not now.

Think every day that passes is a few more PPV buys down the drain, people are getting sick of it and Pacquiao's last outing wont help matters either. late 2009, early 2010 was the peak. 2 years later and still nothing.

That last fight between Manny and Marquez was the biggest fight the world of boxing has to offer, I am sorry if thats it then I'll pass.

I love boxing, but the way its set up is a joke. Each boxer is his own promotion / industry its not about seeing who is the toughest guy or who is the best boxer its about the Promotion 1st 2nd and 3rd and maybe somewhere down tenth reason if theres a good fight then thats a bonus.

Just look at the rings after a boxing match, the whole world and his mother are in there, usually a bunch of fat cunts who look like they have never spent a day of there lifes in a gym let alone help train the fighter. Boxing is sick has been for a very long time and if you dont think thats the case you are fooling yourself.

Pacman vs Marquez the biggest fight boxing had to offer?? Not even close. Vast majority (myself included) thought it would be a massive mismatch. It was taken as a given that JMM couldn't fight above 135. One of the great things about boxing is that it continues to surprise you.

Regarding the last line, its a circus thats the point. What do you have to say about boxers being there own promotions. Regardless of what you may or may not think I love combat sports in general, I listen to a lot of fighting podcasts weekly and the general consensus amongst true boxing aficionados is the sport is shot to pieces and the fights people want to see rarely happen.

Boxing is too diluted with a billion different belts kicking about, if boxing was all about two boxers getting in the ring to see who is best, I would love the sport, its not, its nowhere near about being about that, which is should be what it is all about.

But hey ho you obviously know your beans and you most certainly know more about boxing than me, perhaps I have the sport in terms of where it is all today all wrong but I do love boxing and the sweet science of boxing. Watching a worldclass boxer go to work is like watching an artist paint and masterpeice

He wouldnt be fighting the same guy, its his brother. And he put up a better fight v Wladimir than most others have in recent years. Sad but thats the heavyweight division at the minute, there isnt anyone else, not really boxings fault that one.
