    Packers/Raiders

Did anyone see it last night?

The Packers were brilliant. 31-0 in less than 23 minutes. I can't believe how good they are. Of course it helped that the Raiders were woeful but since their record might be good enough to squeeze into the playoffs you have to credit Green Bay.

I only learned a couple of days ago that Green Bay are the only NFL team owned by the fans rather than a billionaire. That makes it all even better.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I take an interest, you know.

I always liked the Raiders but really their whole appeal is built on that ferocious defence of the Seventies. There's nothing else to like about them.

Among NFC teams, the Packers are pretty much the only ones I have ever had a soft spot for (which isn't just a recent, gloryhunter thing. )

I enjoy watching it but need to spend a bit more time to really understand it in detail

Looked at going to the game at Wembley game but was a bit steep price wise, 55quid cheapest tickets

If I had to pick a team it would be the Bears

Boo. I don't like the Bears. I would if they made the 'C' on the heir helmets look more like bear ears.
