The Kessler fight was Wards coming out party. Tonights confirmation of just how good he is. Fantastic performance. Speed, poise and a left hand that'll give Froch nightmares for years to come.

Aye, Ward was just simply the better fighter, Got him well won by 9 rounds to 3, maybe even 8 to 4 if i'm being massively bias.

Disappointing to see, definitely lost.

The fight went very much the way most people expected, the speed and slipperiness of Ward was too much for Froch.

Ward was Fantastic.

Boxing ability was always going to be Froch's downfall, no doubting he's one tough nut, but he just does'nt possess the ring craft of others.

Yep, outclassed. He was made to look like a plodder in that fight, devoid of ideas and anything he did come forward with he was made to look ordinary. Pity, I like him - he's hard as nails, by **** can he take a punch.

Ward though - has to be up there with the top guys soon in pound for pound. I'd never seen him fight before, the guys on here who said he's the best fighter Froch has faced are definitely right.

I just wonder whats left for Froch now, is he past his peak or was it just that Ward made it look like he was that slow?
