It may be peanuts to the PDC but considering its 200k for the World championship its a decent prize especially as the World Matchplay and World Grand Prix have 100k for the winner

Isnt he a snooker player?

Is that how easy this BDO tournament is, that people from other sports are even good enough to compete?

This jarg tournament has always made me chuckle. Can someone with a much better knowledge of Darts than me demonstrate how **** it is in laymans terms.ie How far would the BDO winner expect to get in the proper one and what's the chances of a nine dart finish etc?

It's difficult to say. It is ****, obviously, but if you look at the top players in the PDC - say the Premier League line-up - then the vast majority (possibly all bar Adrian Lewis) have come from the BDO.

I'd say there's very little chance of a nine dart finish from any of these muppets.

According to the PDC twitter feed only 1 BDO player would get into the. PDC top 20 based on last years average
