Alonso is a genius. Can't understand why the big teams aren't looking at kobayashi either. He's great. Fast, consistent, never gets into silly accidents and is great at overtakes.

I'd put him in the second Ferrari next season.

perez is much more likely to go to a big team than kobyashi

I'm sure he is, he and di resta get talked about in those terms but I really can't see why, neither of them look better than kamui imo. He scores points more often too.

Perez is a very good driver, looks after his tyres well and given a competitive car will do very well IMO.

Loads of rumours he's been lined up for Ferrari, IMO it would be a bad move as he'll be a number 2 there and nothing more with Alonso - Mercedes or McLaren would be a better bet for him to kick on and be allowed to show what he can do.

His massive sponsorship money is obviously a factor in the drives he's offered but not so much with the big teams. A team like Ferrari with a clear number 1 need someone bringing the other car home in the points as often as possible, I suppose Perez or Kobayashi are plenty capable in that regard although Perez is probably the more sensible one, less dangerous attacks attempted.
