Pretty much nailed itOriginally posted by Daniel 7 View PostPredictions?
I said the other day I'm going for a Hamilton win despite McLaren's ability for ****ness - I'm going to be brave and stick with it even though Vettel has pole - he's going to end up getting the record for pole positions over the next few years. Long way to go yet, but ****, he's good over a lap.
Button is **** out of form, very strange. I think we're seeing his inability to drive through a problem, it all has to be just so for Jenson, otherwise he struggles.
Alonso is unlucky, because you're seeing a genius peaking and he's being sold short by Ferrari. The car isn't as bad as it was earlier this season, but if he was in a Mercedes (who are being sold short by their drivers) I reckon he would have had a few wins by now.
So, 7th winner of the season? Someone has to start dominating the season now.

Brilliant stuff, Hamilton was composed and clinical. Best race of the season.
Excellent drive by Hamilton. Super quick with new tyres and patient when he came up on Alonso. Very calm, and very quick. Impressive stuff indeed.

I think he's learned alot from the tribulations of the last few seasons, especially last one when he finished behind his teammate for the first time in F1 cos Button was consistently picking up good points.
It's all about winning when you can and scoring good points when you can't, he's learned that now and is alot more measured in his driving. He doesn't take stupid risks anymore.
It's going to be an epic battle between him, Alonso and Vettel.
