I can't stand Peter Allis.

The other day he said to his co-commentator about Masters champion Bubba Watson "Have you seen much of this fellow?"

He's an arrogant, senile old duffer these days. Like the BBC football pundits he seems to think research is beneath him....a pure golf snob.

I thought it was Golf law that you had to like Peter Alliss

You make a good point though.

The BBC commentary team were awful and downright disrespectful in some instances.

Missed Scott's collapse yesterday. I was round my mum and dad's. When Scott holed that putt for birdie on the 14th we all went out in the garden as it seemed to be over.

I came back in just as Scott holed his putt on the 18th. I thought he looked a little underwhelmed. It took me a few seconds before I realised he'd blown it.

I thought Ernie was very gracious in victory by the way.

I assuming everyone is watching the Olympics closing thing...I've been watching the golf, poulter had a hell of a front nine but let it slip back nine, some unknown English lad from st helens is going to finish 2nd which is unbelievable, and Rory Mcilroy is about to an his 2nd major in two holes time
