The official word is he's off for an MRI scan. Just twitter rumours the ACL stuff at the moment, did look bad though.

Dont write off the Celtics just yet.. their experience might just see them make an amazing push unlikley but should make a good series

Bulls have confirmed it is an ACL and he's out for the play offs. Will struggle to play again this year I'd have thought.

True. It will be hard for Orlando to keep Howard in the long run, so perhaps it's better for them to just trade him now? He could really add a lot to most teams and I think he wants a move to a Championship challenging club.
