Very interesting, and fair enough if the investigation found that he was unaware of frame fixing until the very last meeting with the fixers. Still sounds a bit odd though.

Ah ok, so I see it's all came from my former employer Betfair

My mate used to head up their integrity team when I worked their. If any of us saw anything suspicious we'd report it to them and they'd be on the case. At the time the big one was match fixing in Serie A and B. There was always at least one random game a week where thousands of pounds would be traded at odds on on the draw (which is ridiculous). It stood out like a sore thumb if you knew what you were looking for. All of us that worked there would of course pile on each week on the draw for that particular game. It almost always came in , right old money spinner that was at the time!
